Graham Rubin, the Managing Director, developed the mail order business some 25 years ago after many years experience in the manufacture of trousers, which were supplied to the large Mail Order Catalogue businesses at the time.

Well over 1 million customers have now enjoyed buying direct from Chums since those early days, many of whom will have started by firstly trying our fantastic value for money Crimplene trousers (which are still one of our best sellers) or summer Cotton trousers or Farah branded trousers.

Chums is a niche direct mail order company that supplies direct to the public, ranges of traditional clothing and other products for men and ladies aged 55 years or over.

Chums is particularly strong in mens trousers especially 'hard to find' high waisted trousers and stock large waist sizes up to 54" and inside leg lengths from 27" to 33". Discreetly elasticated waisted trousers are extremely popular too for the larger man. All at bargain prices!

Chums also sell all outerwear, underwear, and nightwear for both sexes and are regarded very much as a respected 'Value' retailer with great brand loyalty.

For ladies, Chums are particular strong in traditional 'hard to find' dresses and full length coats in sizes from 10 to 30.

The Footwear Collection is full of quality shoes for men and ladies, many in top quality supple leather, with easy access and 'touch and close' fastening."
